Glencore has helped to establish two woman owned businesses, by financially contributing to all the vehicles and equipment, the training, mentorship, and operational costs for two months, to fix the potholes in town. The Thaba Chweu municipality provides all the material required to fix the potholes whilst the Lydenburg Mashishing Business Chamber administers donations received from the community; oversees the work and ensures that the quality of work is controlled. The donations are used to pay for the labour and overheads of the two businesses established to fix the potholes in Lydenburg!
